“We, The Trustees have received many compliments regarding the gardens of the building. This is all due to the hard work and care that Theresa has put into the landscaping and maintenance of these gardens.”. – Sall-Ray Mansions Body Corporate.
“The writer, in her personal, business and representative capacities, has had dealings with Theresa Assad over the past 22 years.
In the beginning. Theresa was self-employed as Theresa Assad Horticulture, then worked under Cape Town Landscaping.
Theresa has at all times displayed an impressive knowledge in her field of business. She is not only well-informedwhen it comes to horticulture and the characteristics and needs of the many varietals she deals with, she also has an inspiring creative talent when it comes to combining plants in colours, varying heights and other properties that are not only complementary from a combination-growth perspective, but are aesthetically very pleasing as well. She is also well versed in the most water-wise planting methods, having regard for the current climate and need to preserve water in this country.
Theresa is an exceptionally practical and pragmatic person. She is a lateral thinker, as well as a quick and logical problem-solver. She is also not afraid to tackle a job herself, should the need arise – for example, I have witnessed her handling a chainsaw, and reverse a bakkie with a trailer into a narrow space. She is a ‘get-the-job-done-now’ type of person.
Over the years that I have done business with Theresa, I have witnessed her, quite literally, take a person ‘off the street’ and train them to be skilled in garden work, to recognise various ranges of plant types, how to plant, transplant, fertilise, prune, etc.
I would recommend Theresa and any business in which she is involved for any landscaping and garden service task, big or small.” – Jenny Shields.
“I walked around my garden with my new neighbour and partner after you had been here and I was so impressed, it took my breath away”. – Carina Louw, Constantia.
“Thanks again to you and your team for your expertise and professionalism in timeously completing our landscaping project. We are extremely pleased with the results.” – Yanush Singh
